Influencer, UGC and Content Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy explains how SQUISH PLEASE, Australia, handles creator submissions, user-generated content and content complaints. Contact help@squishplease.com.
Ownership and permission
You retain ownership of content you create. We may use content only under permission you expressly give, an applicable written agreement or another lawful basis. Posting publicly, tagging our account, sending an enquiry or appearing on an advertising research platform does not by itself grant us a perpetual commercial licence.
A creator agreement or explicit permission should identify the content, permitted uses, platforms, duration, editing rights, payment, credit and any use of your name, image or voice. That agreement governs the licence. We will not assume permission to use third-party music, images or another person's likeness merely because they appear in a submission.
Submitting content
Only provide content you have the right to share. Obtain necessary permissions from identifiable people, including appropriate parent or guardian permission for minors. Do not submit infringing, unlawful, misleading or harmful material, or an unauthorised AI replica of a real person.
Advertising and reviews
Sponsored or incentivised content must include disclosures required by applicable law and platform rules. Reviews and testimonials must reflect genuine experience; editing must not materially misrepresent that experience. Permission to use content does not authorise false product, safety or health claims.
Editing, credit and compensation
Any cropping, captions, editing, advertising use, credit and compensation are governed by the permission or agreement provided. Submission alone does not create an entitlement to payment or an unlimited right for us to use the content. Applicable moral rights and other non-excludable rights remain protected.
Public and third-party content
Public availability does not mean content is free to copy or use in advertising. Third-party content may be used only with the required licence, permission or a valid legal exception. This policy does not itself create such permission or guarantee that a particular use is lawful.
Content complaints and removal requests
If you believe content used by us infringes your rights or was used without permission, email help@squishplease.com with the subject “Content removal request”. Include a link or description of the content, the rights or concern involved, relevant supporting information and a way to contact you. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive documents.
We will review the request and take appropriate action, including removing or restricting content where required. Withdrawal or expiry of a licence is handled under the applicable agreement and law. This process does not limit your rights to contact a platform, regulator or court.
Privacy and changes
Personal information in submissions and complaints is handled under our Privacy Policy. Changes to this policy do not retrospectively expand an existing licence without the required agreement.
